Oral presentations are always accompanied by PowerPoint presentations. The speakers are entirely responsible for the presentation content (order, graphics etc…). All presentations and questions must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the congress.

Presentation Format

In preparing your oral presentation please remember to:

•    Include clear objectives
•    Have a legitimate study design to investigate the stated objectives
•    Discuss valid, substantiated conclusions
•    Use clear and comprehensible language
•    Create relevant graphs, photos, tables using standard software

All presentations should meet commonly compatible format, preferably using PowerPoint version 2010 or higher in 4:3 aspect ratio.

Supported file types:
Presentation: PPT, PDF
Pictures: JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF

NOTE:  There is no system for editing the slide in our session rooms.

Mac users need to convert Keynote files to .ppt or .pdf. before handing over the presentation to the slide center.

Please note it is not possible to use your own pc.

Depositing the File

Presentations must be handed over to the personnel  in the slide center, with a USB stick, as far in advance as possible and before the start of the entire session.
Authors must present themselves to the Chairpersons of their session at least 10 minutes before their session starts in order to acquaint themselves with the equipment.

Time reserved for scientific presentations:
12 minutes presentation + 3 minutes discussion

Authors are kindly requested to respect the indicate timings.

In preparing your poster presentation please use the following guidelines:

• Size: 70cm x 100cm - in portrait orientation. The organizer will provide suitable fixing material.
• Written in English
• If figures are included, these should be clearly labelled and legible

Poster area will be open for set up from Thursday June 20th from 15.00 to 19.00 pm. At your arrival you need to register at the registration desk, then you will be directed to the Poster area. Posters will remain displayed within the whole congress period and should be removed after the Closing Ceremony. 

Each poster board was given a specific number. Authors are kindly asked to make sure to mount their poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to their poster presentation (e. g. P 01, P 02 etc…).
Your poster number can be found by checking the Index in the Abstract Book. A copy will also be available at the registration desk.

Printing and transport of the poster is at author’s charge and care.
